How it works
Every image you add is decoded in your browser and measured. The tool works out the size
of the combined canvas from your chosen layout, gap and whether sizes are normalised, then
draws each picture into its slot at the right scale and alignment. A live preview is shown
scaled to fit your screen. When you click Merge images, the same
arrangement is painted onto a fresh canvas at full resolution and exported as PNG, JPG or
WebP. Because all the drawing happens on an HTML <canvas> on your own
device, none of the images are uploaded.

Side by side, stacked or in a grid
Combining images is handy for before-and-after comparisons, photo strips, collages, product line-ups, screenshot sequences for a tutorial, or stitching panel scans together. Side by side is ideal for comparisons and wide strips; stacked suits long step-by-step shots or chat screenshots; the grid packs several pictures into a tidy square. Normalising sizes lines everything up when your sources were shot at different resolutions, and a coloured gap adds clean borders between them.
It all runs locally, so there is no upload wait and nothing leaves your device — useful for private screenshots or unreleased work. Want to refine the result? Crop the combined image, resize it for a specific platform, or compress it before sharing.

How do I merge two images into one?

Can I put images side by side or on top of each other?
Yes. Horizontal places them side by side in a row, Vertical stacks them in a column, and Grid arranges them in a roughly square layout. You can reorder images with the arrow buttons before merging.
How do I add a gap or border between the images?
Use the Gap slider to add space between images, and pick a background colour for that space (or make it transparent for PNG output). A coloured gap acts like a border or frame between the photos.
What if the images are different sizes?
Turn on Normalise sizes to scale every image to a common height (side by side) or width (stacked) so they line up cleanly. Leave it off to keep each image at its original size, and use the alignment option to control how shorter images sit.
Are my images uploaded to merge them?
No. All the images are drawn onto a single canvas in your browser and exported there. Nothing is sent to a server, so even private or unreleased pictures stay entirely on your device.
